Committed to Growing Pickleball in Oakville
The Oakville Pickleball Association (OPA) is guided by a passionate and dedicated Board of Directors. These individuals are elected by our members during the Annual General Meeting, held each October, and serve a two-year term. Their commitment ensures the continued growth and enjoyment of pickleball within our community.
We greatly appreciate their volunteer efforts and dedication to making OPA a thriving association.

Our Mission
To advocate with the Town of Oakville to promote the development and growth of pickleball for all skill levels in safe indoor and outdoor environments.
To foster an inclusive environment for pickleball players at all skill levels, develop community spirit, and encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship.
Our Vision
To make the Town of Oakville a Canadian destination for pickleball by developing, building and promoting best-in-class resources, infrastructure and organization while contributing to the enhancement of the mental and physical health of our community.

Our Values
The OPA strives to treat all members and volunteers with dignity, respect and esteem in an inclusive sportsmanship environment while demonstrating collaboration and service to our community with a commitment to community involvement.


Our Objectives
To achieve this Mission Statement, the objectives of the Association are as follows:
- To work with the Town to ensure maximum adequate playing accommodations, both indoors and outdoors
- To develop community spirit and encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship among all participants for the betterment of their physical and social well-being.
- To develop, organize and promote the Association’s recreational pickleball programs, tournaments and social events within the Town of Oakville.
- To be a resource for our members to identify places to play pickleball in Oakville, with a long-term goal to develop an outdoor venue that can be a home for the Association.
- To ensure that the finances of the Association resulting from the collection of registration fees, sponsorships, grants, and other revenue sources are sufficient to cover and pay for the operating expenses of the Association.
- To have elected unpaid volunteers administer the financial resources.
